UK Govt invites public views on THMPD (Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products Directive)

UK Government's "Red Tape Challenge" invites public views on the THMPD legislation and the manufacturing and availability of Over The Counter (OTC) traditional herbal medicines. You can view and contribute independently to the Government's Red Tape Challenge here: http://www.redtapechallenge.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/medicines-traditional-herbal-medicine/

The Alliance for Natural Health (ANH) has launched an initiative to compile information from practitioners and manufacturers/suppliers, which they intend to use as a record of public views. You can read about the initiative here: http://anh-europe.org/news/anh-starts-data-collection-for-uk-medicines-regulator's-red-tape-challenge
The ANH have also prepared a short, 3-page questionnaire that you can fill in online here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFJ2aVc2Rk1XZTBsbnQybVVJa2wwVWc6MA
This is an opportunity not to be missed! The deadline for submissions is 12th April 2012, so we urge to you to take action by contributing to either or both of these forums in anticipation of better freedom of choice and availability of traditional herbal medicines. You may please take part in it.
