Ancient science of life (Ancient Sci Life), one of the oldest scientific journals of Ayurveda, from The Ayurvedic Trust, Coimbotore, publishing research articles since 1981 is now pubmed indexed.

The other two pubmed indexed journals of Ayurveda are AYU from Gujarat Ayurved university, Jamnagar and J- AIM from Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (I-AIM), Bengaluru.
IJAR (International Journal of Ayurveda Research) from the Dept. of AYUSH which had created a good impact was pubmed indexed earlier than all these journals, but unfortunately it was discontinued since March 2011. Hope Dept. of AYUSH will revive it soon looking into the need of good peer reviewed scientific journals in Ayurveda.
