NAGPUR: A division bench comprising Justices SC Dharmadhikari and MT
Joshi of Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court dismissed the petitions
filed by Shri HVP Mandal's Vidarbha Ayurved Mahavidyalaya (Amravati),
Ayurved College (Risod) and K R Pandav Ayurvedic College (Nagpur).
The Nagpur bench has refused to grant permission to these colleges to admit BAMS students to the postgraduate course in Shalakya for the session 2010-11. In the process, the court upheld the Union Government's department of Health and Family welfare and 'AYUSH' - Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy, order of September 14, 2011.
