IPHEX 2013, India's leading pharmaceutical show under the support of
Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce and Government
of India will be held from 24-26 April, 2013 in Mumbai. Besides regular
participants, participation of the AYUSH sector in this year's
exhibition is slated to be the highlight of the event.
“Ayurveda has a rich history of a few thousand years. AYUSH's participation in iPHEX 2013 is a good development for the ayurvedic industry. Many times, consumers from overseas countries consider ayurvedic product equivalent to nutraceutical. As many pharma regulators from across the globe will be present at the event, AYUSH members will get an opportunity to convince these regulators that ayurveda is also the form of medicine,” says Dr P V Appaji, Director General, Pharmexcil.

He adds, “Developed as well as developing countries are convinced about the health care solutions and the goodness that ayurveda has to offer, to the world at large; in fact US President Obama through his latest health plan wants to integrate alternative health solutions as they provide solutions for chronic disease conditions.”
